I travelled to North Cyprus accompanying a donor for a treatment cycle, and the experience gave me a much deeper, personal understanding of why this destination has become so popular for intended parents seeking fertility treatment abroad.

North Cyprus is a beautiful and relaxed island, with a warm Mediterranean feel that immediately puts you at ease. While I was there, the streets were filled with the scent of orange blossom, small cafés lined the pavements, and there is a quiet rhythm to daily life that feels both calming and grounding. What stood out to me was the unique blend of this island’s rich history; centuries-old streets, historical buildings and peaceful surroundings with the modern, specialized IVF care available here.

But I wasn’t there on holiday, I was there to support a donor through her donor cycle.

The donor was met with a compassionate team that made her feel supported, well-informed, and cared for throughout every stage of her cycle. The medical team took time to explain each step and ensure she felt comfortable and respected at all times.
I was genuinely impressed by the standard of care and facilities.

The IVF clinics are modern, well-equipped, and clearly designed with international patients in mind. The medical team I encountered was highly experienced and confident in their field. Compared with many other destinations, the level of service is also notably cost-effective, which makes treatment more accessible without compromising quality.

Another aspect that stood out was the patient-friendly nature of IVF options in North Cyprus. The legal and regulatory environment allows for more flexibility than in many other countries. My Personal Impression of North Cyprus

My personal impression was very positive. I loved the combination of excellent clinics, beautiful surroundings, and a genuine “can-do” attitude. There is a real sense of possibility here, which can be incredibly important during a fertility journey. For me, North Cyprus felt like a place where high-quality medical care and a supportive, welcoming environment come together in a unique way.

It is an experience I will not forget, and one that made me understand why people are choosing this destination for their fertility journey.
